DONATED by millionaire Cheah Chen Eok to commemorate the 60th year of Queen Victoria’s reign in 1897, this Moorish-style clock tower is 60 feet tall – one foot for each year of the sovereign's reign. The queen never visited it. She died before the tower’s completion in 1902.
