THIS is where craftsmen and builders of the temples and clan houses started off when they arrived in Penang. Founded in 1850 along Lebuh Penang, it is now housed in a building called Lo Pan Ku Miau, or North Duke's Old Temple, built in 1865. It continues to function today as the guildhouse.
